Bhaktapur, Aug. 29: Minister of State for Information and Communications Tapta Bahadur Bista has stated that Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's State visit to India had been successful.
At a programme organized by Rafat Media Club here today, State Minister Bista argued, "Other leaders from opposition parties did not receive State honour as received by PM Deuba during his visit to India. That is why they have been belittling PM Deuba's visit just for objection."
Stating that there was no point in criticizing PM Deuba's India visit, Bista asserted that the PM had made a straightforward statement on the behalf of Nepal during his visit to southern neighbour.
The State Minister further shared that the government has already made full preparations for the third round of elections to be held in Province No 2 on September 18.
Urging one and all to be sure of timely election, he reaffirmed that the government was effortful to resolve the issues relating to the working journalists.
On a different note, the State Minister said that the government has been conducting relief operations across the flood-affected districts. RSS
