Lamahi, Dec. 21: Twenty-one people including three women died while 15 others were injured in a road accident that took place at Ramri of Tulasipur-2 on the Tulasipur-Salyan road section. The deceased are yet to be identified.
The bus with registration number Ba. 4 Kha. 9766 was heading towards Tulasipur from Kapurkot of Salyan when it fell some 700 meters below the road, according to DSP at the Area Police Office, Tulasipur Prem Bahadur Shahi.
The bus was carrying students and teachers of the Krishnasen Icchuk Technical School in Ghorahi, as they were returning after a study tour of the botanical garden in Mulpani of Kapurkot, Salyan. Eleven of the seriously injured were rushed to Nepalgunj while the remaining are undergoing treatment at Rapti Zonal Hospital.
