Nepalgunj, Aug 1: A daytime service centre for senior citizens has been brought into operation at Nepalgunj sub-metropolis-1, Dhambojhi.
Swabalambi Senior Citizen Society Nepal constructed a building to run the service centre at the cost of Rs 1.53 million. The financial support for the same was provided by Nepalgunj sub-metropolis.
Society Chairperson Nar Bahadur Hamal shared that the service centre was operated to help senior citizens spend their time with recreation.
Nepalgunj sub-metropolis mayor Dhawal Shumsher JB Rana inaugurated the service centre building.
Also speaking on the occasion, deputy mayor Uma Thapa Magar and ward-1 chairperson Pramod Rijal pledged to equip the service centre with recreational facilities for the beneficiaries. RSS
