Pokhara, Dec. 16: The third International Mountainous Film Festival is to be held at Pokhara City Hall (Sabhagriha) on December 21-23.
Pokhara Film Society is organizing the event where total 43 films including 23 Nepali and 20 foreign films will be screened.
The main objective of the festival is to raise public awareness on the cultures, public life of indigenous nationalities, traditions, sports, bio-diversity around the mountainous regions.
At a press conference organized here on Friday, festival Coordinator Saroj Sapkota shared that the event is to be organized to advocate for the guarantee of the rights of the people living in and around mountainous regions.
Society general secretary Bishnu Gautam said the festival will have the first screening of Nepali film 'Tuin'. RSS
