Supports of all needed to hold polls in free and fair manner, Home Minister


Janakpurdham, Sept. 3: Home Minister Janardan Sharma has said that the polls environment in the province no. 2 for the third phase of local level polls scheduled for September 18 has become better due to participation of all political parties.
Minister Sharma also said that support and participation of all was expected to conclude the polls in a free and fair manner.
Minister Sharma said so while speaking at the two-day security management programme organized in Janakpurdham by targeting the September 18 local level polls in the Province No. 2.
During the programme, Regional Administrator, Inspectors General of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Nepal, Chief of National Investigation Department, Major General of Nepal Army and Chief District Officers of eight districts were present at the meeting that concluded on Sunday.
Spokesperson of the Home Ministry Ram Krishna Subedi, Major General of Nepal Army Dev Kumar Subedi, Chief Investigation Director of NID Dilip Kumar Regmi, IG of Nepal Police Prakash Arya and IG of APF, Nepal Singha Bahadur Shrestha also expressed their opinions on security provision and threats during the seminar chaired by Home Secretary Lok Darshan Regmi.
