Parbat, Aug. 25: Falebas, the second municipality of the district will soon be getting its first ever landline telephone service.
Prior to this, the residents of the municipality had access to mobile telephone service only. The Nepal Telecom Parbat office is expanding landline telephone as well as internet service in the municipality.
Construction of telephone tower and laying of underground telephone cables is underway. And the plan is to begin both landline telephone and internet service by mid-October, acting chief of the NT office Keshav Prasad Bhusal said.
The landline telephone service has been expanded due to the demand for it, as people have found it more useful than a mobile phone, especially for internet services. RSS
