MUMBAI, Feb. 11: A popular daily recently reported that Virat Kohli, who was often spotted on the sets of 'Phillauri', is apparently the co-producer of this film. A source close to the leading daily revealed, "Virat loved the script and he was involved with the film right from the beginning. He has also invested some money in this film, as he wanted to extend his support for a movie that is so high on content. He will be promoting the film in his own way."
As the news published by this leading daily went viral, Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to clarify about such reports. Disappointed with such rumours, the actress refuted it by tweet.
With this tweet of Aushka Sharma, it is a clear picture to everyone that Anushka Sharma's boyfriend, Virat Kohli has no role to play in 'Phillauri'. The film that also stars Diljit Dosanjh, Suraj Sharma and Mehreen Pirzada is Anushka's attempt at promoting new talents. The trailer of the film is out and has received a positive response from the audience. With Anushka playing a ghost in the film, 'Phillauri' will soon hit theatres on March 24.(TOI)
