Tanahun, July 31: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel said the NC would not stay back from launching a decisive protest if the incumbent government continues haughty behaviour.
"We have started a symbolic protest to make the government aware and bring it on track. We are ready to launch a final protest if the government does not correct itself," he said at a protest programme in Tanahu.
On the issue of proposed Chief Justice Dipak Raj Joshi, NC leader Poudel wondered why the Judicial Council recommended Joshi if his academic certificates were fake. "First of all, office bearers of the Council should be booked," he said.
On the occasion, other NC leaders like party central member Shankar Bhandari and member of National Assembly Prakash Panth accused the government of working against democracy and the aspirations of the people for prosperous Nepal.
The protest rally that started from NC's party office went around the bazaar before converging into a corner meet at Ansan Chautari in Damauli. RSS
