Kathmandu, June 15: Voting for the new leadership of Nepali Congress affiliated Nepal Trade Union concluded Friday evening.
Under the sixth General Convention of the Trade Union that started on Tuesday, the voting had started from 2:00 pm.
Of the total 1,420 voters, 1390 cast their vote, said election officer Gopal Krishna Ghimire, adding that vote count would begin after a while. There are total of 44 positions including 17 office bearers of the Trade Union. The election scheduled yesterday was postponed due to some dispute, said a Trade Union representative. RSS
