Kathmandu, Apr. 25: The Supreme Court has issued an interim order to halt the construction of a business complex in Basantapur.
A single bench of SC justice Tanka Bahadur Moktan issued the order putting an immediate halt to the construction of the building by Maharjan Business Associates Private Limited, according to SC spokesperson Narayan Prasad Panthi.
The order comes in response to a writ filed by senior advocate Prakash Mani Sharma, who argued that the construction was against the Ancient Memorial Protection Act, 2013 B.S. Both the sides have been summoned for hearing this Sunday. RSS
