Six members a family die as landslides sweep away their house in Kalikot

Kalikot, July 29: Six members of a family have been killed when a house was swept away by landslides that occurred in Naraharinath Rural Municipality-7 of Kalikot district on Tuesday night.

According to District Police Office, Kalikot, the incident took place when the house belonging to Gange Budha swept away by the landslides at around 2PM in Banga area.

Meanwhile, two persons have gone missing after landslides struck a house belonging to Bale Budha in Naraharinath Rural Municipality-4. The incessant rainfall has prevented the local authorities from carrying out rescue operations, the rural municipality chairperson Dhiraj Bahadur Shahi said.
