With 315 new coronavirus cases National tally reaches 20,086

Kathmandu, Aug. 1: The Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 315 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. With this, the national coronavirus tally has reached 20,086 including 14,492 cases of recovery and 56 death.

In 6,993 Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests performed in the last 24 hours, as many as 315 persons were found with the virus infection, informed Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry in the daily press briefing.

The new cases were detected in Sunsari, Jhapa, Ilam, Siraha, Udayapur, Morang, Saptari, Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Bajhang, Achcham, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Kathmandu, Kavrepalanchowk, Ramechhap, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Rupandehi and Salyan.
