Kathmandu, Jan. 16: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has removed 13 individuals from his secretariat.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat has stated that they have been officially dismissed with effect from January 15.
The Prime Minister's Secretariat has dismissed Narayan Prasad Dhungana, personal joint secretary and Ramesh Prasad Guragai, personal under secretary.
Similarly, the PM’s Personal Under Secretaries Om Kumari Poudel and Sabitri Kumari Adhikari have been removed. Likewise, Personal Under Secretary Kal Bahadur Nath, Personal Section Officer Lale Kumal, Administrative Assistant Yubraj Shah have also been removed.
Similarly, administration assistant Ram Lal Parajuli, computer assistant Basudev Sharma, computer assistant Khadak Yogi, office assistant Avinash Waiba, vehicle drivers Ramesh Prasad Ghimire and Pabitra Bahadur Shahi have been dismissed.
The Prime Minister had previously said that along with reducing the staff, he would also downsize his Secretariat. Accordingly, 13 employees of the Secretariat have been dismissed.
There are 52 posts in the Prime Minister's Secretariat. Out of which the Prime Minister appointed 35 individuals in the Secretariat. The Secretariat said that 20 of them are ready to be removed.
