Chitwan, Nov. 25: Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has said that he will work in favor of the people whole-heartedly.
Addressing the election certificate distribution program at the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Lamichhane said that he will move forward guided by the interests of the country and its people and stand by the issues of the people's livelihood.
He said that his aim is to support society and work for the people of the country. He said, “Even though we elected MPs belong to different parties, we are in the same boat.” He added that he is ready to stand together and cooperate on the issue of people’s livelihood.
Mentioning that his party did not form an alliance with anyone in the election, he said, “If an alliance is necessary for the sake of the country and its people, we will be part of one openly.” In the program, provincial assembly member Krishna Prasad Silwal elected from Chitwan Constituency-2 (A) and Uttam Joshi elected from Chitwan Constituency- 2 (B) said that they will continue to support the country and its people.
On the occasion, Chief Election Officer Ritendra Thapa distributed election certificates and thanked everyone who helped in holding the election successfully.
