Finance Minister Wagle, Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar meet

Kathmandu, Sept. 18: Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jayshankar.

On the second day of his visit to India, Finance Minister Dr Wagle and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar held the meeting in New Delhi.

On the occasion, various matters were discussed to further enhance and advance the long-standing, trusted relationship between Nepal and India.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, Minister Dr Wagle expressed gratitude to the Government of India for the aid provided to Nepal’s rescue and relief efforts following the recent flash flood in Rasuwa.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to deepen the age-old friendship between Nepal and India and strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in investment, energy, and connectivity.

Earlier, Finance Minister Dr Wagle held discussions with senior Indian diplomats on Friday.
