Kathmandu, Sept. 14: Gold prices have set new records again this week. On Wednesday, the fourth day, the price reached a new high. Although it slightly decreased on Thursday, it set another historic record on Friday, the last trading day of the week.
Analysts attribute the rise in gold prices to factors such as fluctuations in the international market, increases in crude oil prices, stability in the dollar exchange rate, and the ongoing upward trend in gold prices.
In the domestic market, gold prices also set new records throughout the week. On Sunday, the price was Rs 152,100 per tola. By Wednesday, it had reached Rs 153,400 per tola. After a slight dip on Thursday, the price set another record on Friday, rising to Rs 156,300 per tola. This marks an increase of Rs 4,200 per tola compared to the beginning of the week.
Silver prices in the domestic market also saw a slight increase this week. On Sunday, the price was Rs 1,750 per tola, and by Friday, it had risen to Rs 1,860 per tola.
