Ambassador of India to Nepal and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport of Nepal jointly handed over 48.8 meter span modular ridge

Kathmandu, Aug. 20: Ambassador of India to Nepal and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport of Nepal jointly  handed over 48.8 meter span modular bridge built over Puwa Khola in Ilam district, Koshi province.

Following September 2024 floods, India provided 10 prefabricated steel bridges to Nepal under grant for rebuilding critical road infrastructure disrupted by flood and for bolstering connectivity.

The bridge at Puwa Khola is one of these 10 bridges. Three other bridges have already been installed to help improve connectivity in different parts of Nepal.
