The school building is being constructed with financial assistance of more than Rs 40 million from the Government of India. The project is being implemented through Siddhicharan Municipality as part of India’s HICDP in Nepal.
According to project details, the new school infrastructure will comprise a three-and-a-half-storey building aimed at improving educational facilities in the district.
Mayor Khanal, representatives of the school management committee, and other local stakeholders expressed appreciation for the Government of India’s support, stating that the project would significantly contribute to strengthening the local education system, the press release noted.
