PM Balen to meet Indian envoy on Monday

Kathmandu, Aug. 8: Prime Minister Balen Shah will first meet with Indian Ambassador to Kathmandu Naveen Srivastava on Monday. Shah will then meet Chinese Ambassador Zhang Maoming later the same day, before holding talks with Scott Arboum, Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy, on Tuesday

This will be the first time Shah has met a foreign ambassador in private since becoming prime minister. Previously, he had preferred group meetings with foreign ambassadors.

Nepal's relations with India, China and the US and current issues are likely to be discussed in these meetings.
