Kathmandu, July 4: Minister for Home Affairs, Bal Krishna Khand and the Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, held a meeting at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar, on Monday.
Ambassador Srivastava arrived in Nepal recently and it was his first meeting with the home minister after assuming his office.
On the occasion, they exchanged views regarding further deepening and consolidating the mutual relations between Nepal and India, said Madhusudan Bhattarai, the home minister's press coordinator.
Home Minister Khand urged India to facilitate the supply of chemical fertilizers for the agriculture sector in line with the agreement reached between the governments of the two countries.
The Indian ambassador said he would take initiatives for the implementation of the agreement reached with Nepal.
