Indore, June 2: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, who is on an official visit to the southern neighbor India, has reached Madhya Pradesh on Friday.
Prime Minister Prachanda was received at the Indore Airport in Madhya Pradesh by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
After reaching Indore, Prachanda reached Ujjain by road and visited the Mahakal temple.
Prime Minister Prachanda also performed a special pooja with 108 kg Rudraksh (prayer beads) carried in eight suitcases at Mahakal Temple. A special type of 108 kg Rudraksha brought from Kathmandu, produced in Nepal, was scheduled to be offered to the said temple.
The secretariat said that locals thronged the streets with the flags of the two countries to greet Prime Minister Prachanda.
A dance was also performed with various tableaus in the streets to welcome him. In Indore, the Prime Minister is said to be staying at Hotel Marriott.
