Weather to improve from tomorrow

Kathmandu, Oct. 4: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said that the weather will improve from Thursday. 

According to Gobind Jha, Meteorologist at the Division, the weather will improve from Thursday morning. Rainfall will slow down from tonight.

He said, “There is a probability of slowing down of rain from the today evening. The weather will clear from tomorrow.”

The western part of the country, Karnali and Sudur Paschim Province will have an earlier improvement in weather than the eastern part. 

The highest rainfall was recorded in many districts of Lumbini, Gandaki, and Bagmati Province in the last 24 hours.

He said that 200 mm of rain was measured in the Archale and Kumal village of Palpa. Similarly, heavy rainfall was measured in Beljhundi and Manikapur in Dang, Lele of Lalitpur, Gaidakot of Nawalpur and in Chitwan.

The heavy rainfall has become a cause of concern for farmers as it is time for paddy harvesting.
