Air Dynasty helicopter crashes in Nuwakot, five dead

Kathmandu, Aug. 7: A helicopter belonging to Air Dynasty has crashed at Shivapuri in Nuwakot’ killing five people.

It is reported that the helicopter en route to Rasuwa from Kathmandu collided with a hill at Surya Chaur-7 of Nuwakot district.

A rescue team has reached the incident site.

The helicopter with registration number 9N-AJD went missing after flying to Syafru Besi in Rasuwa.

According to sources at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the helicopter took off from Kathmandu at 1:54 PM. It has been reported that the helicopter lost contact after reaching Surya Chaur in Nuwakot.

The Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, Ramkrishna Adhikari, stated that after locals saw the helicopter in the Shivapuri-7 Surya Chaur area, they informed the police.
