Kathmandu, Dec. 17: The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the prize money for the Nepal Premier League (NPL). In a press release on Tuesday, CAN revealed that the winning team will receive Rs 11 million.
The runners-up will be awarded Rs 5.1 million, while the third and fourth-place teams will receive Rs 2.5 million and Rs 1.5 million, respectively.
Earlier, CAN had announced a car as a reward for the tournament’s best Nepali player.
The playoffs of the NPL are set to begin on Wednesday, featuring the top four teams: Sudurpaschim Royals, Janakpur Bolts, Chitwan Rhinos, and Karnali Yaks.
