Indian PM Modi attends ‘fruitful roundtable’ with tech CEOs, highlights the India ‘growth story’

New Delhi, Sept. 24: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attended a 'fruitful' roundtable with chief executive officers (CEOs) of top American technology firms. At the table, he highlighted the economic transformation taking place in India, especially in the fields of electric and information technology (IT) manufacturing, semiconductors, green development, and biotech.

Taking to X, PM Modi said, "Had a fruitful roundtable with tech CEOs in New York, discussing aspects relating to technology, innovation and more. Also highlighted the strides made by India in this field. I am glad to see immense optimism towards India."

The meeting, which occurred at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel during the second day of PM Modi's three-day US visit, was attended by the CEOs of 15 US-based tech firms, including Nvidia's Jensen Huang and Google's Sundar Pichai.-Agencies
