New Delhi, July 24: Nepal and India held a home secretary-level meeting in Delhi on Wednesday, reviewing bilateral security cooperation and border management. Both sides agreed to enhance and make the collaboration more effective, according to Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
Both parties noted that the draft of the Mutual Legal Assistance Agreement in criminal matters is in its final stages, and they agreed to expedite the revised extradition treaty.
The Indian delegation was led by India’s Home Secretary Govind Mohan, while Nepal’s delegation was headed by Nepal’s Home Secretary Gokarna Mani Duwadi.
