Kathmandu, July 7: In a productive meeting held between Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Aman Lal Modi and South Korean Foreign Minister Park Jin's envoy Lee Hoon Wook, both parties focused on enhancing the bilateral ties and fostering closer connections between their respective populations.
The meeting, which took place in the city of Busan, Korea, saw discussions on extending support to Nepal's development through the Korean government. Lee Hun Wook, the Korean Foreign Minister's Envoy, expressed his readiness to provide assistance in various areas, emphasizing the significance of the existing people-to-people relations between Nepal and Korea.
He conveyed Foreign Minister Park Jin's message, highlighting Korea's willingness to support Nepal's overall development and strengthen the bond between the two nations.
Minister Modi extended congratulations to both Korea and Nepal on the momentous occasion of the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic relations. He emphasized the need to enhance people-to-people interactions between Nepal and Korea, stressing the shared responsibility of fortifying and fostering a dependable relationship.
Minister Modi assured his counterpart that Nepal is committed to supporting activities that benefit the rights and interests of both countries. Furthermore, Minister Modi appealed for constructive and positive cooperation in effectively implementing and strengthening federalism in Nepal.
