BYD Hi-Tech Week begins in Nepal, showcasing advanced EV innovations

Kathmandu, Feb. 27: BYD Hi-Tech Week officially commenced in Nepal, introducing advanced mobility solutions and next-generation electric vehicle (EV) technology, the company said in a press release. Organized by Cimex Inc Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of BYD in Nepal, the event was inaugurated in the presence of key industry figures, including representatives from the Chinese Embassy, BYD Asia Pacific, and Cimex Inc.

At the event, BYD unveiled five high-tech vehicles-Yangwang U8, FCB Bao 5, Denza Z9GT, Denza D9, and BYD Shark 6-featuring advanced safety, performance, and intelligent driving systems. The press release further stated that the company also showcased its latest innovations, including the Blade Battery’s safety test, E-Platform 3.0 for optimized battery efficiency, and the Disus-P intelligent chassis control system for enhanced vehicle stability. Demonstrations highlighted BYD’s automatic parking, tank turn feature, and superior suspension technology.

Speaking at the event, Anil Shrestha, Chairman of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., emphasized BYD’s commitment to bringing state-of-the-art EV technology to Nepal. “The Hi-Tech Week is a testament to our vision of a smarter, safer, and more sustainable future in mobility,” he said, according to the press statement.

BYD Hi-Tech Week runs from February 27 to March 2, with three daily sessions. Tickets are available on e-Sewa, with free entry for students upon valid ID verification.
