Kathmandu, Mar. 26: Nepal defeated Ireland A by 71 runs to win the T20I series at Kirtipur on Tuesday.
Following a big target of 199 runs Ireland scored just 127 runs before becoming all out in just 18.3 overs.
To register a big margin win over Ireland, Nepali bawlers Sompal Kami and Kushal Malla pick 3 wickets each. Similarly, Karan KC, Kushal Bhurtel and Bibek Yadav took one wicket each.
Ireland's batsman Stephen Doheny scored the highest runs of 26 whereas Morgan Topping, Cade Carmichael, Ross Adair, Neil Rock, and Gareth Delany scored 21, 18 17, 17 and 15 runs respectively.
Earlier, Nepal had posted a target of 199-run playing stipulated 20 overs.
Batting first Nepal scored a huge total of 198 in a loss of 7 wickets with the help of Gulsan Jha's 46 runs, Kushal Malla's 34, Rohit Paudel's 33, Kushal Bhurtel's 25, Sundeep Jora's 21, Anil Sah's 12, Aasif Sheikh's 11 and Bishal Yadav's 7 runs.
