Birgunj, June 5: More than 7,000 protective helmets for Nepal’s law enforcement agencies were ceremonially handed over in Birgunj today by Devi Sahai Meena, Consul General of India in Birgunj, to SSP Shanti Raj Koirala of Nepal Police.
The helmets will help enhance the safety, preparedness, and operational capabilities of Nepal’s law enforcement personnel, reflecting the continued cooperation and partnership between Nepal and India in strengthening public security and institutional capacity.
The handover ceremony was held in Birgunj, Parsa, in the presence of officials from both sides.
