Kathmandu, Mar. 12: The price of fine gold in the domestic market declined by Rs 2,000 per tola on Thursday, a day after it had risen by the same amount.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold, which was traded at Rs 317,000 per tola on Tuesday, increased to Rs 319,000 per tola on Wednesday before falling back to Rs 317,000 per tola on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also dropped significantly in the domestic market.
Silver fell by Rs 205 per tola, declining from Rs 5,720 per tola on Wednesday to Rs 5,515 per tola on Thursday, the federation said.
