At least 10 dead, 2 police officers injured in Sydney Bondi Beach Shooting

Sydney, Dec. 14: At least 10 people have been shot dead and several others injured at Australia’s Bondi Beach, local media is reporting. One of the dead includes an alleged shooter who was fatally gunned down by the police. Another shooter is critically injured, Reuters reported. Eleven people are reported to be injured, two of which are police officers, the New South Wales Police Force said.

A Jewish event was underway at Australia’s most-famous beach on Sunday afternoon (local time) when the shooting incident happened. Witnesses reported hearing up to 50 gunshots in Bondi, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.-Agencies
