Mobility Aid distribution camp

Kathmandu, Jan. 28: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, on the occasion of India’s 73rd Republic Day, Defence Wing, Embassy of India organised a Mobility Aid Distribution Camp organised at Dharan under the aegis of PPO, Dharan for Bhu Puus of Indian Army & Assam Rifles. This camp is one of the many endeavours being undertaken by Defence Wing for the welfare of our Bhu Puus.

According to The Press Release of Indian Embassy, In this camp, 32 Divyangjan Bhu Puus & their family members were provided with Wheelchairs & Walking Aids. Bhu Puus & their family members who are suffering from age-related disability/infirmity and other health problems were proactively identified during pension documentation camps & rallies. Department of Orthopaedics, BPKIHS Dharan assisted in conducting the health checkup. The mobility aid will restore near normalcy in their bodily functions and empower them to connect with the mainstream society.

Defence Wing has been undertaking numerous special measures in the interest of its Bhu Puus & the society during the pandemic times to ease their difficulties. Various efforts include timely payment of pension, virtual identification, digitalisation, blood donation camps, ration distribution, mask and sanitiser distribution, aid to local administration, wheel chair distribution, new docu rallies to cover maximum areas etc.

Our efforts exhibits our concern & commitment towards the welfare of our Bhu Puus and the Nepali society.

With this, the national coronavirus tally has reached 775,548.  According to the Ministry, 961 persons tested positive for the coronavirus at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

With 777 new cases Coronavirus national tally reaches 776,325

Kathmandu, Sept. 11: The Ministry of Health and Population informed 777 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday. With this, the national coronavirus tally has reached 776,325.  According to the Ministry, 777 persons tested positive for the coronavirus at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

With 838 new cases Coronavirus national tally reaches 777,163

Kathmandu, Sept. 12: The Ministry of Health and Population informed 838 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday. With this, the national coronavirus tally has reached 777,163.  According to the Ministry, 838 persons tested positive for the coronavirus at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.

With 1,149 new cases Coronavirus national tally reaches 778,312

Kathmandu, Sept. 13: The Ministry of Health and Population informed 1,149 new cases of coronavirus on Monday. With this, the national coronavirus tally has reached 778,312.  According to the Ministry, 1,149 persons tested positive for the coronavirus at various labs across the country in the past 24 hours.
