‘Bow to Janta Janardan,’ says Indian PM Modi as BJP cruises towards win in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh

New Delhi, Dec. 3: With the BJP cruising to thumping victories in three states – Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the election results show that the people of the country have chosen the politics of “good governance and development”. PM Modi thanked the people of the three states for their “unwavering support” and assured them that the BJP government will keep working “tirelessly” for their well-being.

According to the latest trends available on Indian Election Commission website, the BJP won 46 seats and was leading in 120 of Madhya Pradesh’s 230 seats. In Rajasthan, the party bagged 76 seats and was ahead in 39 of the total 199 seats. The party won six seats and was leading in 50 of Chhattisgarh’s 90 seats.

“We bow to the Janta Janardan. The results in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan indicate that the people of India are firmly with politics of good governance and development, which the @BJP4India stands for. A special thanks to the hardworking Party Karyakartas. Each of them is exemplary! They have worked tirelessly and highlighted our development agenda among the people,” he said in a post on X.

According to the Indian Media, The Prime Minister Modi also thanked the people of Telangana for their support to the BJP and said that the saffron party’s bond with the state is “unbreakable”. “Over the last few years, this support has only been increasing and this trend will continue in the times to come. Our bond with Telangana is unbreakable and we will keep working for the people. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of each and every BJP Karyakarta,” he said in another post.

Elated over the BJP’s victory in the three states, several party leaders and Union minister expressed joy over the election results and said that people have reposed their faith in “Modi’s guarantee. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that today’s results have proved that days of appeasement and caste politics are over, adding that new India votes on politics of performance.

Shah said that massive win in Madhya Pradesh is public’s seal of approval on welfare policies, good governance of double engine government led by PM Modi. He also said that Rajasthan win is victory of people’s unwavering faith in the leadership of PM Modi. He further said that tribal, poor, farmer sisters and brothers of Chhattisgarh have expressed faith in PM Modi and blessed BJP with a huge majority.
