India fastest-growing economy in world today: FM Nirmala Sitharaman during No-Confidence Motion debate

New Delhi, Aug. 10: Indian Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday (10 August) said that India is now the fastest growing economy in the world due to the efforts of Modi government.

Taking jibe at the previous UPA government during the debate on the No-Confidence Motion moved by the Opposition, the Finance Minister said that India was among the 'fragile five' economies of the world during the previous regime in 2013.
