Tehran, Iran, Nov. 25: Five climbers have died and four others have been injured in an avalanche in western Iran. The state media gave information about this incident on Saturday.
A report by the IANS news agency said rescue teams recovered the bodies of five climbers from San Boran peak, about 300 kilometers (about 186 miles) southwest of the capital, Tehran.

The nine-member team of climbers began their journey on Thursday despite warnings from local authorities about the potential danger, the report said.
The highest peak of the 4150-metre (about 13,600 ft) Oshtrankuh mountain range has seen heavy rain and snowfall in recent weeks.
