Modi, Xi seen having brief exchanges in Johannesburg

New Delhi, Aug. 24: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping were on Thursday seen having brief exchanges ahead of a media briefing by the BRICS leaders in Johannesburg.

Modi and Xi are in the South African city of Johannesburg to attend the annual summit of BRICS (Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa).

Video footage aired by a South African broadcaster showed Modi and Xi having a brief exchange.
